The digital humanities/liberal arts have seen significant growth and maturation in recent years.  Thick mapping in the humanities, brought to heightened visibility by the Hypercities project, is representative of such projects. Academic librarians are uniquely situated to provide critical support to students and faculty engaged in digital humanities/liberal arts projects.
